All increases in homelessness in a wealthy State are unacceptable, yet female homelessness has witnessed the steepest rise. While adult homelessness increased by 78% in five years, women's homelessness increased by 101%, more than doubling.

Finally, most deserving of strong criticism, the previous and current Government have demonstrated a cold indifference to child homelessness.
Between IWDs, child homelessness has doubled, from 2,326 to 4,603 children. Many young girls and teenagers are having their futures compromised
