Technology ConnectionsI've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.
You might think I'm talking about the government (which I am) but, uh, the push for easy-answer machines in the form of LLMs/"AGI" sure does sound like the result of a culture which just wants answers and not understanding.
