Gavin Volure’s Peanut ButterWelp here in the TX Hill Country we’ve got 30-50 mph winds, 20% humidity, buttloads of dust hazing up the air, and what they’re calling “historic wildfire conditions.” A 100-acre fire is burning about 15 miles from here and they’re evacuating everyone in the path. It’s but one out of many in my area. Watch Duty app is dinging me every 5 minutes. Intensely dislike everything about this. #TXWildfires

@alfazed7 We’re all good for now. But the long hot summer looms, and it’s supposed to be a doozy. So in addition to the fascist coup, I’ve got months of potential infernos to fuel my anxiety! What a time to be alive!

Here in the Bay Area we had a comparatively light fire season last year, who knows what spring/summer/fall will bring. In addition to everything else...
