Gavin Volure’s Peanut ButterWelp here in the TX Hill Country we’ve got 30-50 mph winds, 20% humidity, buttloads of dust hazing up the air, and what they’re calling “historic wildfire conditions.” A 100-acre fire is burning about 15 miles from here and they’re evacuating everyone in the path. It’s but one out of many in my area. Watch Duty app is dinging me every 5 minutes. Intensely dislike everything about this. #TXWildfires
The wind is supposed to die down a bit by 9pm, so that’s something I guess. Got my go-bag by the door just in case.

Though good that you have a go-bag. I keep resolving to put one together, and then I fizzle out in the first round. "Take your important documents." Omg. "Important." What's important? List of vaccinations. Huh? it's in the garage somewhere.... And then I give up and go and eat pie.
@quixote Lol my “go-bag” has 1 pair of sweat pants, 1 t-shirt, phone charger, medications, and 2 days worth of dog/cat food. I figure all the important documents are somewhere on the cloud.
