Macron is quite correct.

@georgetakei

Ukraine's problem is that Selenskyj may be right, Macron may be right, but as long as all Republicans seem to think that Trump is right and Putin is not the bad guy here, (my guess is, because this putain and his oligarch friends payed them a lot ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐfor the last years and helped MAGA during their campaigns) Ukraine lacks sufficient help.

I guess for the EU it is not possible to say: "Never mind, Donald, we, the EU pay these 1 billion you don't want to pay for and send even more"

Macron might acknowledge that the Normandy Format (Germany and France) was an attempt to prevent all this catastrophe, but was rejected by Ukraine. (Yes, Russia shd not have invaded).

@linuxgnome

Ukraine was under Russia's influence for decades. Just as the people showed interest in free speech, democracy (not fake democracy under Russia's hand) and in leaning towards the EU, Putin invaded in 2014. He begun war a decade ago. So we see he will not stop trying.
