This tweet from Elon Musk is, of course, false. The first known victim of DOGE died around February 2 after the refugee hospital that was giving her oxygen shut down. But the tweet will be useful as there's abundant proof he's lying (or ill-informed) about Ebola & restarting payments.

@emptywheel.bsky.social Pretty sure that "interrupting life support" or "pausing disease treatment" for a few weeks, and then taking a few weeks more to restart it, is liable to lead to death.

Ditto for food shipments. "Sorry it's been a month since you were able to eat; we had to do a sanity check."
