I've never had an Air, but I did use the 12" MacBook with a single USB-C port for a year and loved the form factor.

Anthony Allison@caseyliss totally agree. I loved my adorable and wish they would make another one. I somehow typed out everything for my master's degree on that thing (I was mostly keyboard lucky).
