Trust takes years to build and it takes seconds to destroy
@BrodieOnLinux what’s everyone jumping to now? Librewolf?
@ryankage @BrodieOnLinux Librewolf until @ladybirdbrowser is ready
@frej @BrodieOnLinux weird name for a browser. looks decent tho. how long until they go "ugh no money sucks" and change that goal?
@BrodieOnLinux I've tried Brave, Zen, Vivaldi, and a few others. I keep going back to Librewolf. I keep Ungoogled Chromium around for those sites (like Netflix) that don't work with it.
@BrodieOnLinux there’s a Dutch saying that goes ”trust comes by foot, but leaves by horse”.
@BrodieOnLinux I tried servo yesterday to see if it was in good enough state that technically I or someone else could make a browser. Not ready, although maybe the project would pickup speed if someone used it.
@BrodieOnLinux What do you suggest? I would really want to support something that is not chromium based, but gecko is the only viable option and right now without Mozilla it can't exist. When will we support a fork or something?
