We have to recognize the efficacy of foreign influence operations in the public health - especially related to vaccines - sphere.
Hostile foreign intelligence services constantly promulgate junk science and amplify vaccine criticisms in order to sow distrust in our systems. The goal is to make us less safe, and - unfortunately - they've found a band of useful idiots online to help them do it.

I also only posted a snippet of his post about this from his newsletter. It's not a persona, he *was* an insider and still is, he still communicates with staffers.
His point was different from the one you're making. That's what I'm saying. It wasn't his only point.

Telling someone that only "works up" the one who's told that their feelings are not valid, and should "calm down."

Telling someone...especially Laffy who is the epitome of level-headed social media posting...to "chill out" isn't interested in a conversation. They're only interested in displaying their self-image of intellectual superiority and controlling the conversation so he (almost always a "he") can "win".
Always a good idea to follow Laffy's #Toodles lead.
