I've been experimenting with getting back into voice acting. I'm aware of places like voice acting club, but it's gotten so big now that a lot of the community based small projects get lost.

Where are voice actors and creators hanging out now?

I'm half tempted to spin up a site again for this kind of thing or even something like a lemmy instance.

@wolfdownwords Hi! Thanks for the link. I'm on there but the quality if CCC has really declined. It seems really badly moderated now? A lot of poorly written projects and some broken filters.
I used to run, and was a member of several sites years ago that has really good community and some basic quality guidelines set down. It seems a shame it's all gone.
I have been looking at Bluesky too. But it's not a dedicated space.

@Rebeccamwrites Hence the overwhelm! I end up finding projects on Bluesky that are actually on CCC but don't come up easily in searches, which seems surreal. 🤔

As for Bluesky, true, it's not, but you can follow lists like this. A problem I've discovered is that people tag things differently, so they don't always end up in the "right" place.
