It's not a good thing if you're going to be in any way defending the likes of Jerry Sandusky and Joe Paterno, should anything like that happen again.

I'm still very glad Paterno died seeing his legacy in tatters.

@starraven we certainly wouldn't!

I won't speak for all faculty, but there's a strong sentiment among many that the admin's priorities (including overemphasis on athletics) are out of alignment with it's educational mission
