donate a few bucks to a person making cool FOSS software, or mutual aid for a person, or to a project that's important for the internet (internet archive or wikipedia).

@jeffjarvis @caban4 We’re participating with some workarounds. We’re getting Krispy Kreme doughnuts via #Doordash on Thursday. And we are having foundation work done on our house on Friday, but since it’s under warranty no money will change hands so it’s all good.

@jeffjarvis Locally, I've been slightly hijacking this movement. In the spirit of the boycott, I've been suggesting that people support their local small businesses such as farmer's markets.

This protest may do nothing to the bottom line of these massive corporations. A little extra money to small businesses could go a long way for them.
