“Hall’s percussive sounds are about as rhythmic as an apple-drunk horse and the key drones really start to resemble tinnitus more than anything else. Which is a pretty hep achievement. Glamorous, even. — Byron Coley, WIRE Magazine Sept. 2010”

@tomhallsonics I enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing.

The Wire completely shat on my second album, saying it had “an unsettlingly careerist sheen”, and then never looked at anything again. Everyone else tells me off for being ambitionless and consistently terrible at leveraging anything ever, so their perspective’s pretty…unique. 😂

@Cognessence I really didn’t mind this review tbh, can’t really argue with it ;) and it’s just gotten better w/ age. It’s not the publication it used to be so none of it holds weight any longer anyways.
@tomhallsonics I don’t think there’s enough Nords in this video I think you need more Nords.
@tomhallsonics Great (studio) live performance... wacky sounds & rhythms. I like it a lot... also the beautiful old red devices from Nord. I still don't understand why our friends in Sweden haven't developed their Modular G2 concept any further (it was discontinued in 2009, if I remember correctly).
