LeonianUniverse@Tarrenvane Is there a buyer I can buy from that you might know? I'd buy online yes,but I don't know anyone who sells them and I don't just want to buy from the company directly, I want to support one of the scouts in the troop so that they get the credit.
@LeonianUniverse Do those "digital cookies" work that way? You buy 'em from the specific #GirlScout's page and the cookie people ship 'em whereever you are, but the girl still gets the credit?
Elizabeth Kent@Tarrenvane @LeonianUniverse Yes, if you buy online you can have the sales credited to a specific scout. If you search the #girlscoutcookies you can find people who've posted requests for support. It's also handy if you prefer one of the bakeries over the other (Samoas vs Caramel D-Lites, etc) as you can pick a scout selling from your preferred bakery. Or support a scout who hasn't met goal vs the one that's already got a sales empire set up.
@elkwisdom @Tarrenvane Oh cool, will definitely do that for sure, I definitely want to support the Girl Scouts, I was a Boy Scout for 7 years before I hit Eagle, and so I figure the best way to support someone who needs it and is selling the cookies is to just buy them, so will definitely be looking at the hashtag for sure.
@LeonianUniverse @Tarrenvane There are probably other/better hashtags too - that's one I grabbed because I know it has a list created by Erin Reed for supporting trans scouts specifically. If you go to girlscouts.org you can enter a zip code to get linked to area troops. I'm not sure you can get to a specific scout this way. You can also opt to pay for cookies to be donated. Congrats on your Eagle Scout Rank. My brother is an Eagle Scout, and I had serious scout envy as a kid.

@LeonianUniverse @elkwisdom Just saw the trans part; sadly I don't know any specifically trans scouts; the one trans youth I know is a boy.
@Tarrenvane @elkwisdom I'm having a problem selecting the delivery method, there isn't a radio button, it just is a heading where you can view the info on shipping, but I can't select the actual ship to me heading, any way to get around it?
@LeonianUniverse @Tarrenvane I'm not sure it allows you to select a delivery method - I think if you order online they ship to you, but they choose the shipping method and there's a fee.
@elkwisdom @Tarrenvane Yep, so I figured out how to select and write my shipping address but can't access the payment details screen, man I wish this website were more accessible for screen readers.
@LeonianUniverse @Tarrenvane Ah, sorry I can't be helpful there. I have limited success when I can stumble around/hands on in person, but am not particularly techie outside of direct experience. I wish there were more robust testing of systems so issues like this could be discovered and sorted before things go live.
