VelteropⓐⓊ🪂🇪🇺🇳🇱🇬🇧🇩🇪For a democracy to work well, the Demos needs to have a sufficient level of cognitive integrity and civilised ethics. It seems to me that the lack of those comprise the main reason that democracy in an increasing number of nominally democratic countries falters.

@dao While the right unite, the left remain cleft. It was ever thus. The left can't bring itself to the requisite level of ruthlessness to win against the extremely ruthless far-right. It's not nice, but needs must.
