@Iconfactory ‘View Details’ cannot load the full article/web page text at the moment. Will you add the ability to load a full website, like in a reader view, in the future? Unread and Reeder offer this feature. ’Open Original’ is not a solution right now because it is not a reader view. I mean, it’s better than nothing :)

@iRodknocker Tap the gear icon at lower right to open settings then tap Appearance and change the preview length displayed in the timeline to Long. Then let me know if the entire article is displayed. Thx.

Maybe you didn’t quite understand what I was talking about, and my question wasn’t answered either. :)

Will you be adding something like a reader view? That’s pretty much standard in RSS readers. Thanks!

@iRodknocker We won’t bypass what a blog or site includes in their feed. We’re displaying what is included in the feed you added to Tapestry. Some sites like the one in your example don’t include the entire article so that you will click through and view it on the site itself. Many of them rely on advertising to stay afloat. That’s the way it is.

@iRodknocker Yes, not saying it’s not possible, we’re saying we won’t do it. We wouldn’t appreciate another app overriding our own advertising revenue so we have no intention of doing it to others. Sounds like these other apps are a better choice for you. Take care.

@Iconfactory It probably doesn’t fit all my RSS feeds, but I thought of a scenario where Tapestry could make sense for me. :)
