Advice on UPS replacement batteries? I have a number of APC UPS units that I want to replace the batteries on. These are the typical sealed lead-acid 12v/7?9?Ah rectangular blocks with F1 terminals. The OEM batteries cost almost half as much as new UPS units, which I'd prefer not to replace right now for various reasons. There seem to be a million 3rd party brands for these batteries, all of which seem to get various forms of awful reviews -- short service life, infant mortality, no warranty, no replacement if failure, burst seams and acid leaking (yuch), etc.

Has anyone got a recommended brand of these suckers that is reasonably priced and reasonably reliable?
