Have a blog post basically ready to go, but I need to look at it on a PC on Monday before posting- a habit I got into many years ago. You never know how things look on other machines. Or if the lengths of the paragraphs look right, etc. Positioning images is still bizarre on mobile (Jetpack for WordPress) - I don't feel like it gives you an accurate preview of the post. I don't always care about things like that for shorter posts, but for longer posts, yeah. WordPress is super quirky.

@jake4480 being a one-person self-QA department! A very special skill we all learned in those early web days 😂🤘
@miksimum 😂 yeah, that's really what it is. I re-read them a bunch of times before posting for flow, usually. I don't even have another editor. Yeah, early web habits die hard hahaha
@jake4480 are you using the classic editor or the block editor? If using the block editor there are some decent enhancement plugins to add missing features. Free ones also. If you need any tips let me know. ( edit I realised this sounds like I’m selling something, I’m not, just personal experience)
@chrisjimallen ha! I appreciate it. I'm using the block. I've thought about going back to classic haha. I kinda mess around with everything til it feels right. Which plugins? They help with Jetpack etc in mobile?
@jake4480 Just curious: What does Jetpack do for you? I’ve deleted it from all my sites and haven’t missed it.
@wmjohnston06 I use it on my phone for writing drafts, throwing in images, basically all the stuff before I publish, before I do one final check of it on a PC. I find it to be a pretty good app. Shows stats, etc, too..
