I love the story Bora Chung tells about "The End of the Voyage" from her Philip K. Dick Award-nominated #scienceFiction collection YOUR UTOPIA.

Women readers in India: Yesss, when the man tells the woman they should restart humanity since they're the only man and woman left, she eats him! This is so feminist!
Chung: Uh well, I thought that was a symptom of her disorder...

@mani 💯 Chung talked in a recent interview about getting a lot of invitations to speak in India and doing quite a few online talks last summer. She said most of the Indian readers in these sessions were women, so while she didn't discuss regions or specific groups in much depth I'm guessing these were groups like schools, book clubs, civil society organizations and so on in cities.

@ljwrites there are lots of book clubs here in Delhi. Though most of them don't stay for long, but, new ones come soon.
