@AudraTran ah! Communities! Thanks. I thought that was the word they were using for servers to make them more relatable to the general public. I’m using an app called Arctic for Lemmy. I’ll figure it out.
@annewalk @[email protected] yeah there is going to be terminology that is different but it has most features that are the same as reddit. In the early days people argued over calling them sub-lemmys and most people thought it sounded too dumb… and it did 😂
@Rand_o @AudraTran Well, it’s all sorted out now. I’m enjoying finding communities via search. So far, it’s been very tech centric. I did find one on Severance that’s promising. Someone posted a link to an excellent essay called "Severance" as Marxist horror. Shows promise :)

@annewalk @[email protected] Hopefully we start getting more active users especially after the latest Reddit move. Def more tech centric audience since they are all mostly early adopters! Works for me though as I am interested in all the tech stuff lol. Well I hope you enjoy! I can’t wait for the day decentralization becomes predominant

P.S if on iOS my fav app is Voyager. There are also alternative UIs that will make lemmy look more pleasing on desktop so look into those!
