To use a standard gesture with VoiceOver, Double-tap and hold your finger on the screen until you hear three rising tones, then make the gesture. When you lift your finger, VoiceOver gestures resume.

@racheled I've been using an iPhone for a decade and had no idea...
@jyarbrough I was looking up gestures to see if it was possible for VO users to swipe right or left on a transaction to reach hidden buttons
@racheled Why wouldn't you just use the actions thing or whatever it's called that just lets a VO user swipe up and down on the transaction to view options.
@jyarbrough teach me! 😩 we have a requirement that non-VoiceOver users can swipe to expose buttons and I wasn’t sure how it could work for VoiceOver other than having those same buttons available without swiping on the individual transaction screen. I will play around with it in my budgeting app and see if I can trigger a menu.
@jyarbrough wait is this just a long press on the transaction to show the menu options? There are more than what you can access with the swipe even so that’s cool
@jyarbrough oh I see now. If I swipe up and down with VoiceOver while on a transaction, it goes through options I can perform. Sweet!
@racheled Yep, that's what I was getting at. I was pretty sure it gave you the same options as that side-swipe gesture, but admittedly wasn't sure since I never used an iPhone before losing my sight.
