Ruth — of systems & designOver the years, I have come to think of DDD EU as the premier software design conference. @mathiasverraes put so much care into nurturing it through its early years, and the current organizing team has continued this path in providing us with a venue where software design and designers, is a focus. Yes, DDD is (importantly!) the core focus, but DDD evolves with this openness to what we’re learning in broader sociotechnical, design, and architectural innovation areas.
Every year I have eagerly mentioned and encouraged considering this conference as a place to recharge hope in our field while strengthening our practice, but this year it is with more of a mix of feelings (impostery fears, but also excitement that there are such great options to nourish the practices of our field!)
