Joe Bradley was born on 23rd March 1893, Norton, Yorkshire. He was the son of George Bradley. His starting date at the Plant was on 3rd May 1907 as a Turner. He then enlisted in Doncaster and joined the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry 6th Battalion, Reg. No. 18356, Rank Private. He was killed in action on 18th September 1915, France aged 22.
