Because no one asked...

I felt Dr X was a pointless addition to the "make a face lollipop sticks" of the 1970s Count Dracula(r) ice lollies.

So I have reworked them to include a gargoyle face instead... you know.. for reasons.

Anyone who was alive in the 70s will appreciate this, on various levels.

Lolly-trace-a-face? I can't remember.

@hypnogoria

I understand that the odd one out in the lolly pop sticks faces is in fact Captain Death and I should have removed it and not Dr X who has some vague horror provenance, but I play my Mastermind card at this point because I'd already started on doing it before I realised that.

@Printdevil I'm presuming that Captain Death is supposed to be an evil or ghostly pirate, but it's pretty clear that they just ran out of ideas in a hurry.

@BigJackBrass OH RIGHT THAT'S AN EYEPATCH!

I thought that was a spoon

@Printdevil A spoon would reduce the horror a bit, unless employed by Alan Rickman.

@BigJackBrass There was a "Spooky Spoon" in the Numberjacks.

Which as a series had some great supervillain names (of which Spooky Spoon wasn't one)

But "Numbertaker" for a guy dressed in a sheer white undertaker outfit was good.
