Hey @ishambard, since we were already on a roll after our NES SMB2 run, we decided to try our luck at the GBA version. It was so much more forgiving. Got the deathless run in a single attempt. The couple of areas where we had minor issues were due to changes from the original game and adjusting to the change in physics.
Since we have already gotten the most challenging achievement, the rest is going to be a nice casual run.

4-2 and 6-2 are where we fail the most, but this version is more forgiving, so maybe doing a warpless run won't be so bad.
It would be nice if we could get it before Sunday.

I'm just plugging away at Chu Chu Rocket at the moment, but once I hit a certain point, I might go to some Mario games.
