@arstechnica that's what happens when refusing vaccines: kids may die on a disease that was almost extinct.

In Berlin an 8-year old recently died on diphtheria. Also not vaccinated 😞

@arstechnica in Germany it's a matter of personal rights & human rights.. pretty complicated.

There was a broad discussion about that during COVID.
But in Germany u cannot work with kids without measles vaccine - and as I know also Kids can't go to (almost every) kindergarden without it.

Because of the fact that measles can be pretty dangerous for kids - the younger the more dangerous.
