That 99 Euro T430s I grabbed off of Kleinanzeigen is REALLY pretty actually. Very well maintained. In fact it looks barely used at all. 🤷

I am sure the battery is pretty shitty (didn't try yet) but hey. Immediately flattened that Windoze with Debian 12 of course. Went for KDE this time, never played with that before. Looks neat! 😎

All it needs now is a BIOS update since it's still cranking on the 2013 version. 😬

The KDE version in Debian 12 is kinda old now, but still quite useful.

I am rather fond of its power and flexibility.

@thinkpadmuseum This is not going to be very exciting at all. It's a "backup" for the other T430s I have on the dock regularly. It only has 8GB and no NVIDIA graphics but that's okay since I rarely have a need for the NVIDIA thing anyway. See, told ya, not exciting at all. 😟

@phf It’s a lovely machine, not having the dGPU option makes running some operating systems easier :)
