I got a laptop, and it's a macbook air! Never used macos before, this is a big step.

(This choice says more about Microsoft than Apple. Can't bring myself to buy a laptop with a Fuck-You-We-Stole-Your-Work button.)

But I'm excited to try a Mac finally. Very impressed with how long my BF's Macbook Pro has lasted.

@protowlf I know, right? My new laptop (not the decrepit one I'm using to write this) is a Tuxedo, made for Linux. System76 is also an option for that.

If Microsoft wants on this AI bandwagon so bad, they can ride it off a cliff.

@protowlf I feel that. My daily drivers are still Windows machines, just from inertia (and a few games I still want to run natively; I haven't played enough with WINE/Playonlinux to trust it yet).
