Murphy’s Law hit me. I broke my #SteamDeck L1 button. It’s the only part I’m afraid of breaking because it’s very HARD to fix.
As much as SteamDeck embraces right-to-repair, the L1 and R1 buttons have slipped under the radar, and unfortunately, they are also very easy to break.
When your SteamDeck falls, if it lands on the L1 or R1 button, it is almost certainly broken because the whole weight of the machine is just too much for that little switch.
