DP0@rbreich The saddest part is Medicaid and Medicare. The US has the highest healthcare costs in the world. These could be easily reduced by:
Regulating healthcare and drug prices (e.g insulin, up to 10x the price of other countries)
Prevention campaigns (e.g., regular check-ups cost less, increase survival rates, and reduce treatment costs)
Food safety standards (healthier food leads to healthier people, requiring less treatment)
In the EU, we do all of this. But that's socialism, I guess! 🙄
