@joplinapp I just heard about your app tonight, during a class I attended. I'm visually impaired & your app was mentioned as a free alternative to OneNote. However, on my #Windows11 computer, with the #JAWS #Screen-reader, I'm unable to sync because it's insisting that I create a Joplin Cloud account, which I found out, has a cost associated with it. Would you be willing to provide more info on pricing? I was unable to find it on your website? (1/2)
I greatly appreciate your attention to #accessibility! :) If you need #BetaTesters for upcoming features, count me in! :) (2/2)
@KE8UPE You can also sync with either dropbox or OneDrive for free, the pricing is on their website and I could see it with my ScreenReader I think it starts at about two euros a month for the basic package and goes up from there
@Mishu70 I can’t get dropbox sync going on my computer. It insists on using its own cloud service, which I don’t want to pay for at the moment. As a jaws user, how do I navigate that screen and select dropbox?
@KE8UPE Hi I also use Jaws I did it awhile ago but I think I just pushed the sink button and then it came up with the options to use their cloud service or dropbox or OneDrive I pressed enter on dropbox and then it opened up a dropbox site to authenticate the app and then it gave me a code I had to put back into Joplin then all was good
@Mishu70 I got it working. I had to go to "tools" then "synchronization" & choose Dropbox from the list & now all is well. Have you heard? The iAccessibility Social instance will be shutting down later this month. I created an account on @caneandable.social & it’s great! in fact, I’m considering merging all of my accounts into one. I currently have three, with this being my main one.
