The crowd and myself are in full agreement that it was great to see the return of Alexa Bliss in the Royal Rumble match.
No Becky Lynch return in the match however, but perhaps it would have been seen to have overshadowed Bliss' return if she had?
Congratulations to Charlotte Flair on returning and winning the Royal Rumble, but I would have much preferred for it to be Roxanne Perez (the runner-up) rather than her.
DIY (Ciampa & Gargano) retain their WWE Tag Team Championships against the Motor City Machine Guns in a 2-Out-of-3 Falls match thanks to interference by the Street Profits behind the referee's back, after which the Profits gave MCMG a few more shots with a crutch.
I still dislike def rebel for the most part, as after the intro DIY's current theme is too generic. Their previous "We Are DIY" theme was still much better than that.
After reversing a package piledriver attempt on the announce table into an Alabama slam through the ladder placed between the announce table and apron and climbing the ladder in the ring to retrieve both titles...

Rey Mysterio starts at the first entrant, and Penta is the second! That's certainly one way to kick off the Men's Royal Rumble match.
There was a point it seemed like both of Penta's feet hit the floor, but apparently it was very close and only one.
Akira Tozawa gets taken out during his entrance (Entrant 8), so is quickly replaced by iShowSpeed who happens to be in Gorilla Position & is told by Triple H that he's in the Rumble.
I couldn't care less about iShowSpeed, but thankfully he doesn't last long as he gets a rope-running Spear from Bron Breakker, thrown out of the ring and caught by Otis... who then hits him with fall-away slam over the announcers' table to complete the elimination.
Sheamus' entrance doesn't include his old theme despite the hope showcased by some (which I'd agree with, as it's another generic def rebel one) at the Kickoff show.
Say his name and he appears, I believe in Entrant 15: TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry!
I had no idea who Entrant 18 was from the music, but it turned out to be Finn Bálor. Probably because it didn't even include its usual intro to differentiate it from the fact it's another generic def rebel theme otherwise. Catch Your Breath was a much better theme for him.
Great to see AJ Styles return as Entrant 21, with his "Phenomenal" theme, not the def rebel generic theme with intro.
You can't see Entrant 23, because it's John Cena in his final Royal Rumble, on his Retirement Tour!
CM Punk is Entrant 24 and Seth 'Freaking' Rollins (who I have no desire to win) is Entrant 25.
Dominik Mysterio is Entrant 26 and starts off promisingly with a frog splash to John Cena, but that doesn't last.
Entrant 30 is Logan Paul. I absolutely have no interest in him winning the Royal Rumble match, quite the opposite in fact. Interesting that Michael Cole said the name Ricochet when mentioning the viral Royal Rumble moment between the two, despite him being in AEW now (albeit without mentioning he's now in another company of course).
Sadly Logan Paul did eliminate AJ Styles though, as well as Punk after Punk does Rollins & Reigns.
There's some brawling outside the ring between Punk, Rollins and Reigns, with Reigns getting hit with a Curbstomp from Rollins on the steel steps.
John Cena thankfully eliminates Logan Paul, so the final two are John Cena and Jey Uso.
The winner of the 2025 Royal Rumble, and going on to main event WrestleMania is... "Main Event" Jey Uso!
I would have loved for Joe Hendry to win, but obviously not surprised he didn't.
