Ripping old CDs to mp3 with abcde, working surprisingly well: nice to be able to do this from the terminal, the instructions along the way are… uhm…instructive, and the output is working/playing as it should in 320kbs with the most significant metadata intact. #mp3 #linux

@balterwenjamin42 Yeah, I have been using #abcde for many years, it does what it's supposed to, reliably. Did you know the entire project is written in #Bash? Just recently found out!

@ruben_int No I didn't, very cool! Never thought about using Bash for this, but I guess it's possible!
