Funnily, when I chucked them all into Google Translate it flipped after a while:

This fundamentally weird comic seems mostly forgotten now.
I have this album called ”Riki vivre ensemble” by Ilan Manouach (2008), where every character except the pelican (Riki) has been carefully removed and the colors washed out and yellow-tinted.
He got permission for it!
It nicely exaggerates the oddness of the comic. Like there’s nothing in it, except the minimal number of props needed in the plot. If a comic could be low-poly.
