The pattern of "freedom of speech" often boils down to:
1. People wanting to murder, kill, enslave, imprison other groups of people, promote violence and hate
2. "Love all people", "All people are Equal" gets you murdered
There are so few people in this world willing to say what Martin Luther King Jr or #Malala say because like Malala in year 2012, you get a bullet in your head, shunned, attacked, dehumanized for saying "love all people".

The Political Party Clergy, The Religion Clergy idea that "You must hate those you intellectually disagree with" has been the most powerful recruiting tool in world history.
Jewish clergy preach hate non-believers, non-equality. Clergy almost never teach equality of Torah with Navajo Pollen Path or Hindu Upanishads. "Love ALL PEOPLE INCLUSIVE, regardless of faith / non-faith" avoided. The same technique with Muslims & Christians & others.
A "Winner Takes All" mentality that the "failures" and "those who do not get our message of our religion or political party must suffer and be hated".
Hate is considered normal, hate is routine, hate is the foundation of popularity for group association and membership identity.
You even see this encouraged in marriages and romantic relations: that to disagree with a person in a relation you must hate them, dehumanize them, belittle them, stop communicating with them, block them, hate them.
This is taught all over the world, to hate because of disagreement.
