For two long years, I studied #writing, and I practiced it too. After all this time, I might not be a better writer, but I have learned that good writers are. While #AI reflects the average of us all, good writers transcend every limit.
@grobmeier who's your favourite writer?
@Sh41 That's a tricky question. In my youth, I found Tolkien, Alan Dean Foster, and Lovecraft impressive. Today, I read more classics, from Kafka to Meville. I enjoy analyzing historical speeches, like Churchill's or Ciceros, and connecting them with my interest in history. I have no preference from a style perspective, as all epochs have their good (and bad). You like to read too? Whats your favorite?
@grobmeier I'm easy to please, I read mostly fantasy and Sci-Fi. I would think Asimov is probably my favourite.
@Sh41 I admit, I always wanted to read Asimov, but I never managed - despite owning several of his works. I should put it on my list for this year
@grobmeier I -Robot and the foundation trilogy are really good
