Hi Scott and thank you. I first joined Mastodon during the mass exodus from Twitter, and was here for about six months at that time. Then I questioned how much social media I wanted to participate in and withdrew from everything.

Being an old techie myself I read all about how to post. I’m also very sensitive to people with disabilities and so hopefully I will always remember the alt-text.

The fediverse is an amazing place. And for the most part everyone is kind and generous, warm and welcoming. I really like that. It feels safe here. We all get fired up with our passions once in awhile, and that’s okay too. It’s great to hear so many diverse ideas without a lot of negativity. I’m glad my little post brightened your day. 😊
