It sure would be nice if more than one or two Democrats would fight like this.
They need to point out the corruption every time, but too many of the Democrats put their stock portfolios ahead of their morals (yes, I'm looking at you Nancy Pelosi.)

We need a new system. Two parties are hardly more difficult to co-opt than one is, especially when Supreme Court case law protects American corporations and billionaires buying politicians and parties outright.
Whichever new party replaced the old one would be part of the same broken system, encounter the same financial pressures and enticements, and eventually meet exactly the same fate.
We need massive political reform.

Our political system is constructed as to drive the electorate to two parties, vying for the greater political mass. I don't think we're constructed in such a way as to allow minority parties to have more of a role than that of spoilers.
