Yeah. Reading the article, Section 31 seems great if you just want to just shit on everything else in the franchise. Nope, not for me.

jrs100000I’m not exactly sure what you mean. DS9, and Trek in general does have a central theme of people needing to make difficult choices, and each series had a slightly different way that this played out. For example, TOS was known for escaping the impossible choice by ‘cheating’, while the TNG crew usually escaped through the power of teamwork. DS9 tried to take a slightly harder line on letting characters dodge difficult choices, but it was pretty clear that just because someone picked the lesser evil didn’t mean they hadn’t still picked an evil, or that there weren’t consequences.
