@lnogue the only place we've ever linked up outside work is a handful of emails sent to my Googlemail acc prior to my starting
@djstreethawk but bear in mind that if you happen to pass by the same network with your personal device as he did it might establish some kind of relationship tha amount of data we provide with wifi network usage is incredibly high

@lnogue I don't use social networks apps on a phone, or use non GSM connections outside my house

We've only met each other in person once and again, no public WiFi can even be found at our fairly remote and digitally secure office, GSM only

I've kept everything Google including the 3rd party Android phone. Alphabet might spy on me but they'll sure as hell not be telling meta

@djstreethawk meta uses contacts in your phone too and makes inference based on mutual friends, also you mentioned using gmail? may your gmail account be linked to your meta profile as well? if your email got saved on your recipient address book meta may know it

@lnogue it's possible there is a permitted link between my Gmail and meta accounts. I'll investigate that avenue, thanks.

Otherwise, I think I'm going to have to chalk it up to experience and proceed to retreat off FB as planned this year.
