It should be noted that the facebook mobile UI caches heavily and can show you as following someone for some time after you've unfollowed.
Also the original is the wrong UI for unfollowing.
so yeah.
@indrora @Dhmspector @404mediaco
Yeah, it’s •probably• nothing worse than a UX fail. Hard to say without seeing exactly what they’re seeing.
But…we’re all on eggshells right now, and not without reason. It seems like the sort of thing that 404 does a good job of sussing out.
@matt @Dhmspector Good to know! I was wondering both in this case actually
It seems for ppl inside the US it;s manetory now
@elduvelle @stux @Dhmspector Ooof, well spotted! Here's the other one. I'm not forced to follow either (thank god!)
The only difference here is they seem to have re-ordered the menu items.
#Alt4You Video clip of someone unfollowing Trump's profile in the Facebook mobile app, then they scroll away to elsewhere in the app, then when they go back to Trump's profile it is showing them following Trump again.
@Dhmspector *SO* glad I dumped Facebook.
Fuck that noise.
Just reported this page as a fake person and blocked it. But I never followed.
My wife finally deleted her FB account as a result of this.
