TikTok shut itself down as part of a pro-Trump propaganda campaign.
The likelihood of a quid-pro-quo with Trump is extremely high. Using TikTok will mean being propagandized with pro-Trump messages over the next four years.

He wanted to ban Tiktok, then all in Congress wanted to ban Tiktok for various reasons, they banned it, and he realized he could pickup a political win by NOT going with Congress so he did and it got unbanned and got huge publicity.
He played the dumbass Congress like a fiddle just like LAST time AFTER he won election by putting his signature on the Congress COVID checks.
I didn't vote for him but I can see the ploy he pulled.
