I am sure I have seen the recently released Official Presidential Portrait of Donald Trump somewhere before.

#Baltar #TraitorToTheHumanRace

@raymierussell I think your being harsh on Baltar with this one. Though they both are ready to sell out everyone and anyone just to save their own arses so it's close
@ShadowInTheVoid
Baltar died in the original cut of the movie version but then had a second bite at the cherry when the TV series was commissioned. So another parallel there.
@raymierussell I enjoy both versions of BSG but I defintly think the reimagined Baltar was a more interesting and fleshed out character. It's shame they didn't give the origional more to do, John Colicos was great in the roll
@raymierussell By the way, this is a good argument that the reimagined series is actually a direct sequel to the origional, just playing out the same events with people with the same names thousands of years later in another cycle of time. Which does actually make the reimagined ending make more sense
@ShadowInTheVoid
I have not seen the re imagined version.
I tried and failed to watch it several times. Cannot last more than 10 minutes of the opening episode.
I didn't like the aesthetic and I am sure it was doing that 'action cam' movement that was popular for a while. That always gets an instant no from me.
Lots of people seem to like it so it is probably just me.
@ShadowInTheVoid
I have the boxed set of the original series. Which I periodically rewatch.
@raymierussell TBH The first I saw of it was the first episode of the actual series and then I went back to watch the mini series later. A lot of it is just bleek and the humans were generally terrible and I cheered on the cylons for most of it, but it had going for it was James Callis as this fleshed out and interesting Baltar who's basically just trying to stay alive and having a wierd cylon in his head he keeps seeing. He really was the biggest reason to watch it
@ShadowInTheVoid
Itvx has it available to stream for free so I may dive in at some point and see if I can get into it.
@raymierussell If you can get past the issues it has it's worth itfor the high points and between the origional series, 1980 and and remiagine it does give you a big overarching story of sorts and they end it in a satisfying where
Caprica is also worth a watch, it's only a season so it doesn't overstay and it does something interesting with the idea of the Cylons origins with some intersting parrellels to where we are right now with technology
