A planned brisk walk soon slowed when I encountered the mud.

My planned café doesn't open on Friday. Doh!
The Plan B pub was also closed. Double Doh!

I walked on to an emergency pub for a light lunch. And very nice it was, too.

I found a #stile in need of resuscitation and an interesting door.

Almost 10 miles walked. A nice day for it.

@aroundthehills Thank goodness your emergency pub was open - the alternative doesn’t bear thinking about 😬

@CloudsGoBy The alternative was a bottle of water, a banana and a Tunnock's wafer. I would have survived but it was a close thing. 😨
