Ned YeungDanielle Smith has assigned Edmonton Police Chief Dale McFee to head Alberta Public Service (starting Feb 24).
McFee was in charge of raiding Edmonton's unhoused encampments and destroying their homes in the coldest winter freezes, against the city's plan to address homelessness and with no notification to the city. Smith says he has been helping the UCP in their implementation of "mandatory rehab" to force treatment of addictions, and also wants the Province to overrule municipal jurisdictions.
