So many people do not want to learn comparative mythology. The clergy of science fiction, the clergy of Bible, Torah, Quran do not need to be paid by dead storytellers from thousands of years ago. Clergy are superfans.
The memes themselves, the science fiction stories, take on a life of their own. Just like modern day memes. This is what Russia has exploited since 2013. Russia no longer has control over this runaway simulacra.
Everyday people pick up and become superfans of Mohammed's Quran science fiction stories. They build new Mosque venues, they dress up in clothes and become clergy. This happens all over the world. They do not need a "cult leader" of Mohammed, who has been dead for over a thousand years.
Russia military weaponized this in 2011, deployed in 2013 on the world wide web / Internet media systems. Now it has been fed as training material into machine learning. But the pattern of human brain exploit was already in science fiction religions.
