When Overcast updated a few weeks ago, I realized I wasn’t subscribed and immediately did.
Then I started using the updated app and found it almost unusable.
Basically every time I’ve opened the app since then has been painful, and even sometimes when I don’t. Why is the episode list so heavy now? Why are there 200 eps of a podcast in my list when I have it set to keep 3? Why are eps undownloaded☁️? How did I just jump to the next podcast while doing dishes?

Update: this forced me to try again at selecting *and using* a “Faves” playlist, and I can already feel my life getting better.
ALSO, it was wild updating the selections on the Faves list, because the old version must have been 5+ years old and I think I removed something like 16 out of 19 picks because they just aren’t high priorities anymore.

Update?: starting last night after 11, the app is just … stopping at the end of episodes? I have a bunch of pods sitting in my lists with 0:00 left, and I have to manually switch to a new one and hit Play after each. An odd feature, if you ask me.

@adamkaump It doesn’t look like it, but I had force-quit Overcast right after complaining/before checking; everything seems sane now. The 0:00 Left pods are still around, but if I play one the app immediately cleans it up and plays whatever should play next.
