Itโ€™s an open secret in media training that โ€œno commentโ€ as a response to a question is in fact a comment. Clients are usually advised to just say nothing.
I would be a terrible client for a PR firm. Media would ask me for a comment, and Iโ€™d make up some goofy sound effects they could quote.
