No I mean even though Elon was born in africa, he's not African. He's just a colonist that was there.
Same as "Americans" who are British people that just killed all the true Americans and took over the land.

There were no Arabs in Africa 1500-2500 years ago, no Hungarians in Hungary, no Turks in Turkey, no Germans in Germany, no Dutch in Netherlands, no Russians in most of the modern Russia. Parts of Malaysia were colonised before Portugese by Tamils.
Boers (mostly Dutch, but also refugees from France) in South Africa started to arrived in 1657. It was not a colony. Land had been purchased from the locals. Violent oppression of the natives is much more recent, and started with British colonisation, who fought bloody wars against Boers (in the process, British invented concentration camps). Apartheid was born there about 100 years ago.

crazyeddie@alavi @akamran @patrickworld I've got some Brit in me but also huge part Irish and Scott and a bunch of German Jew. The British part is actually rather new, which is why it's a big part...that guy was actually Canadian. There's supposedly some native American in there too, but I think that was a boyhood fantasy of my great grandfather--I had to disprove his genealogy stuff he came up with on that line.
I'll return to where I came from when my remains are scattered to the four winds.
