US Representative Buddy Carter has introduced a bill to eliminate the IRS, and abolish income, payroll, estate, and gift taxes.

Instead, there would be just one tax, a 23% national consumption tax on all goods and services you buy.

@FluentInFinance it’s designed to punish the poor. This is the thing they’ve been trying to push as “Fair Tax” which is inherently unfair.
